Technology Ideas

  • Create an annotated Google Earth file with the locations mentioned in the story and a summary of what happened there.
  • Have students keep a digital literature journal (if your computers and Internet are reliable enough). Could be on a wordprocessor, in GoogleDocs, in a wiki, on a blog (closed or open).
  • Have students create a class multimedia presentation with simile examples and illustrations (one per student or per pair). Share with another class via Skype and view their simile examples.
  • Create an illustrated class slideshow of Bible references about eagles. Share in church.
  • Use Kidspiration to make a concept map about the golden eagle.
  • Who could your students interview via Skype (or a similar tool) to learn more about eagles? A biologist at your nearby Adventist university? Who else?
