Technology Ideas

  • Create a creation slideshow to share in church on Sabbath. Share facts and Bible verses to affirm the Biblical belief of creation. Use KidPix, VoiceThread, PowerPoint, or similar options.
  • Find an Adventist geologist or paleontologist to interview via Skype. Check the website of your nearby Adventist college or the GeoScience Research Institute. Use these tips from Digitally Speaking to prepare questions.
  • Use Google Earth to map the locations of the various fossils and finds mentioned in the book.
  • Use tech tools to assist the students in creating their picture book. Drawing program, online presentation tool, etc. VoiceThread, KidPix, TuxPaint, Pixie, GoogleDraw, GooglePresentation, Prezi are some options.
  • The Creation Museum puts out a great DVD called Answers in Genesis that gives theories from a creationist's point of view as to what could have happened to the dinosaurs.
