"In Real Life" Ideas

Non-technology ideas, field trips, author/expert visits, community resources and ideas, etc.

  • While reading and studying Small Steps, students will develop sympathy and understanding for those who are "couped up" in hospitals/nursing homes. Arrange to take the students to a nursing home, and for them to visit with some of the residents there. It will really brighten their day and make them feel like someone cares, and the students will be greatly blessed by it too!
