Technology Ideas

  • Use Skype to interview someone who is blind, such as Dr. Ray McAllister, the first blind Adventist to graduate with a PhD. He does school visits for Christian Record Services. Classes are encouraged to raise funds to send blind children to Adventist blind camps.
  • Use concept mapping software (Kidspiration or SmartBoard's SmartIdeas) to make a venn diagram comparing young and adult Helen Keller.
  • Take the biography reports a step further and turn into a multimedia presentation to share at a school night.
  • Make a multimedia presentation of Bible characters who have overcome obstacles. Share in church on Sabbath!
